Buffalo Springfield/Buffalo Springfield Again
expecting to fly
バッファロウ・スプリングフィールドといえば、ご存知のようにあのニール・ヤング(Neil Young)とスティーブン・スティル(Stephan Stills 後のC,S&N)とリッチ・フューレ(Richie Furay 後のPoco)と、さらに後から加わったジム・メッシーナ(Jim Messina 後のLoggins＆Messina)の属していたバンド。日本でいえば「はっぴーえんど」のようなバンドか。Buffalo Springfield とは多分ニューヨークの上のほう、オンタリオとエリーの間にバファローという場所があるのだが、その地名から取ったのじゃないかな？例えばこのアルバムジャケットとかサイケの折衷コラージュで何のこっちゃ？とか思うかもしれないけど、あの辺ってほんとこんな感じ。自然が多くて住むのには最高の場所。
