一定以上の年齢の方は多分、皆さんこの曲はよく知っていると思うのですが、若い人はもしかして、あまり知らないかもしれない・・・。と、いうことで歌詞も載せてみました。映画『知りすぎていた男』（ヒッチコック監督）の主題歌です。凄くいい歌（lyrics)ですよね。
注目はMary Hopkin版とSly & the family Stone版です。メリー・ホプキンの方はアレンジ、プロデュースと、ほぼ全てPaul McCartneyといっていいものです。完全なフォークソング調です。一方スライのは完全な、もろソウル。同じ曲でこうも違うものかと驚きます。
