Bob DylanにThe Bandがいたように、Boz ScaggsにTotoがいたように、David BowieにいたのがSpiders from Mars。Mick Ronsonが実質的にSpiders from Marsだったのかもしれない。このアルバムは彼のソロ、"Play don't worry"と"Slaughter on 10th Avenue"から編集した２枚組。本当は別々に欲しかったのだが、何故か自分の持っているのはこれのみ。ライナーノーツの最後にはこう書かれている。
