Rolling Stonesの新譜がいよいよ発売されます（2005/09/06）。前回の"forty licks"はベスト盤、前々回はライブ盤だったので２０００年代になっては実質的に始めてのオリジナル盤になるわけです。ミックとキースは６１歳だそうです。正直、聴く方もどんな風にして捉えればいいのか難しくなってきました。ビル・ワイマンはもうとっくに脱退（1993）しているし、チャーリー・ワッツは半分癌なんですよ。多くを望んで聴いてはいけない…というのもちょっと情けない。が、あの歳になってもロックを続ける彼らの根性は尊敬に値する。とにかくチャーリー・ワッツが健在ならばまだストーンズは続くはずだから、純粋に楽しませて貰いましょう。
